Green Day Assembly – A Celebration of Irish Culture
Today, we witnessed Irish culture at its very best as we approach the feast day of Saint Patrick. Our Green Day Assembly brought the entire school together to enjoy fantastic traditional music, brilliant Irish dancing, and beautiful singing. Each performance showcased talent, teamwork, and a true love of our heritage.
During the assembly, we also took time to congratulate our Pupils of the Week. Well done to each of you for your hard work, enthusiasm, and positive attitude.
We were delighted to present certificates to the children who participated in the Irish section of the Feis Dhún Geanainn. Their dedication and effort were clear to see, and we are very proud of them all.
A massive congratulations to James Muldoon, who has now surpassed 1 million words read through the Accelerated Reading Programme. This is a remarkable achievement and a wonderful reflection of his commitment and love of reading.
Well done to everyone involved in making today such a memorable celebration of Irish culture and school spirit. 💚
