Our school community composed this acrostic poem about our school. They chose to use the word ethos to try and paint a picture of what our school is like. The poem represents our school values, beliefs and it also represents the warm and caring atmosphere that you will feel in our school.

E is for everyone. Everyone in our school and broader community is treated with fairness, respectfulness and kindness.

T is for together. Together we are a school family who cares for one another and achieves together.

H is for help. Helping each other is at the core of our school ethos. We always lend a helping hand to others in school.

O is for opportunities. Opportunities are plentiful in St Mary’s from an educational sense to sport and music and everything in between.

S is for St Mary. We try to share our Christian faith and values with everyone and we try to be the best people that we can possibly be.
