It has been a real privilege to celebrate the creativity and collaboration that brought us to the performance last night. Over recent weeks, our P5 pupils have taken part in an inspiring drama programme led by B Dramatic, organised by Edel Mullens through the Connecting Families Project, and supported by the International Fund for Ireland and Monaghan Integrated Development.
This initiative has been about so much more than drama. It has connected children from Aughnacloy Primary School and Glaslough Schools, building empathy and understanding while sparking meaningful conversations about technology’s role in family life. It has strengthened school-community partnerships and given our pupils the chance to develop confidence, teamwork, and creative expression.
Lat night's performance, Swipe Right, was the culmination of that journey—a powerful piece that invites us all to reflect on communication in the digital age. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Edel Mullens for her vision and dedication, and to Brian McMahon for sharing his drama expertise and guiding our children so brilliantly.
Finally, thank you to all parents for your support and for attending the performance. We hope you enjoyed the performance as much as the children enjoyed preparing it. Let’s celebrate their talent and the important conversations this project has inspired.
