Today, the pupils received a brilliant opportunity to learn about and plant birch trees, alder trees and crab apple trees as well as planting more acorns. This activity was led by Mark through the company Faran’s Construction. Mark shared some wonderful educational information with the class detailing that one acorn when fully grown into an oak tree can support life for around 1000 species. This further highlights the immense value of these workshops not only educationally but also from an ecological perspective. A huge thank you goes to Mark for leading the workshop and also to Faran’s Construction for their support.
