This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mrs. Kirby McCormack, a member of our Friends of St Mary’s Committee and leader of the SchoolCycled recycling initiative, who visited the classrooms to collect the bottle cap bins. This initiative involves collecting bottle caps that will be shredded and transformed into outdoor furniture.
At St Mary’s, we view recycling as a lifelong commitment, and we are proud to continue this initiative into the next academic year. It has been truly inspiring to see our whole school community come together in support of recycling.
A special well done to Primary 6/7 for being the fastest class to fill their bin—closely followed by Primary 1/2!
